Steven E. Bolanos, Of Counsel

Steven is fluent in Spanish
Steve nació en Latinoamérica y habla español

Steve completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and graduated magna cum laude from Western State College of Law, where he was a member of the law review’s editorial board.

Since graduating from law school in 2014, Steve has represented clients in matters involving employment discrimination and accommodations, religious freedom, wage and hour claims, real estate litigation and fair housing, as well as personal injury claims.

Steve has obtained outstanding results for clients at trial and at arbitration, but also prides himself in his negotiation skills and has negotiated impressive settlements for clients without the expense and delay of trial.

Steve is passionate about helping his clients (both individual and corporate clients).  While he does not practice immigration law, his most memorable case was a pro bono case in which he helped a 10-year-old girl from Guatemala obtain asylum and reunite with her mom who was already residing in United States. Before her grandmother sent her in a bus alone to the United State, the 10-year-old had been raped and beat multiple times by a relative gang member.

Steve is a father of six and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.  He’s an avid swimmer and also enjoys working on DIY projects around the house.

Court Admissions

Steve is admitted to practice before all California courts, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California.

Publications

Steve has published two law review articles, which have been cited multiple times, including by an attorney practice guide:
